Mediatek is the new chipset manufactruer, which is taiwanese based company which belives or gains profit from small mobiles manufactruers such as (micromax,xaomi,meizu,lenovo)mainly chinese based manufactruer's .mediatek belives profit in volume rather bigger from lesser unit's this is the reason why mediatek used in lowend phones .but with low price mediatek shows that it's capable of anything which you throws at it which it can handle with ease.

MY VIEW

• snapdragon processors heats lesser than mediatek chipsets
• snapdragon chipsets have great graphics than mediatek
• though in benchmark tests snapdragon takes the lead over mediatek
• battery performance is slightly  better on snapdragon
• but through continous benchmark tests mediatek shows it's stablity where as snapdragon falls short in benchmark 
• but throughout both performances are great can handle any think
